We seek to decipher how organisms confronted
with several environmental cues are able to regulate their gene expression
in order to maintain proper homeostatic control. We are interested
in understanding how stress-responsive genes are activated at the
level of transcription. Our research investigations use the budding
yeast Saccharomyces
cerevisiae and Desulfovibrio
gigas as model systems.
