There is an acceptance fee of 100€ ( one hundred euros) on the academic year 2021/2022, that should be paid up to 7 days ( maximum) after the communication of acceptance at the Master Course.
The fee payment is mandatory after the acceptance of the Candidate.
Failure to pay within this period implies the automatic exclusion of the candidate, and no exemption situations are foreseen.
The amount paid will be deducted later in the total amount of the tuition fees.
Candidates fulfilling one of the following criteria will be admitted:
a) Applicants who hold a certificate of completion of a degree obtained in Higher Education Institutions in countries that subscribe to the Bologna Declaration and others considered to be related, taking into account the respective curricular structure;
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, which is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree by the statutory competent scientific body of the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e António Xavier.
c) Exceptionally, holders of a school or scientific curriculum recognized by the master's selection jury, attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies.
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be selected upon evaluation of:
Candidates with bachelour degree:
- Grades of prior academic degree(s) 50%;
- Academic, scientific and professional curriculum 50%
Candidates without the bachelour degree:
- Academic, scientific and professional curriculum 50%
- Previous educational and professional experience according to the scientific field of this application 50%
The Master will open with 10 to 25 students.

Tuition Fees

Annual tuition: 1063,47€ for students from Portugal or EU countries, 2,700 € for students with other nationalities.
Tuition Payment
The amount of the tuition fee is of 1063,47 €. The payment can be done through ATM or bank transfer.
The scholarship holders SASNOVA are exempt from the payment of the fee of € 35 (Law 68/2017). If this is the case, you must provide proof of how the grant was awarded to the academic services of ITQB at the time of registration.
In these cases, the payment of the tuition fee can be made in 10 installments of 106.35 € each. Maturing between October 31, 2021 and July 31, 2022. Payment must begin in the month in which the SAS grant the scholarship request to the students, and the late installments expire at the end of that month.
If you are not a SASNOVA Scholarship holder, you will have to pay the fee (31 €) and you can choose to pay the tuition fee in two modalities (Payment Methods for Master in Association):
When paying the full amount at the time of registration, you receive a 5% discount (€ 1010.30), or you can pay in 3 installments with the following deadlines:
- 1st installment: € until 23 September 2021 (Send proof SA ITQB)
- 2nd installment: € until December 23, 2021 (Send proof SA ITQB)
- 3rd installment: € until March 23, 2022 (Send proof SA ITQB)
According to DL No. 68/2017 of August 9, the modality of payment of tuition fees was created in 7 installments:
Installments 2021/2022 1st year 1st time
- 1st installment - € 152.00 until September 23, 2021
- 2nd installment - € 152.00 until October 23, 2021
- 3rd installment - € 152.00 until November 23, 2021
- 4th installment - € 152.00 until December 23, 2021
- 5th installment - € 152.00 until January 23, 2022
- 6th installment - € 152.00 until February 23, 2022
- 7th installment - € 51.47 until March 23, 2022
Deadline for full settlement of missing debts: July 31, 2022 (with possible aggravation due to non-compliance with deadlines).
