Master

MOSTMICRO - ITQB and its researchers are involved in several Master Courses at ITQB NOVA, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. A Master student at ITQB NOVA is part of the research staff integrating the research groups.

Some research groups are also available to receive Master Students from other courses for their project implementation.

		Master in Biochemistry for Health The Master Degree in Biochemistry for Health is a collaborative Masters from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, involving ITQB NOVA, Faculdade de Ciências Médicas and Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. More information here

		Master in Biotechnology for Sustainability The Master in Biotechnology for Sustainability is coordinated by ITQB NOVA, with the colaboration of iBET, IGC, INIAV, INSA, NOVA-SBE and CEBAL. The Master Course in Biotechnology for Sustainability aims to endow its students with a transversal and interdisciplinary perspective of green and white biotechnologies, preparing them to deal with the new societal challenges with increased awareness of their responsibilities towards the planet and the future generations. 		Master in Medical Microbiology The Master Degree in Medical Microbiology, is a collaborative Masters Course from Universidade Nova de Lisboa initiated in 2003 and involving ITQB NOVA, the Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical, Faculdade de Ciências Médicas and Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. 		Master in Science Communication The Master Course in Science Communication is a collaborative project of Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas NOVA and ITQB NOVA. With an essentially practical approach, the course covers the application of different communication tools to science communication in three major domains: journalism, institutional communication and education. The course takes place in Portuguese. More information here.

ITQB NOVA can also host students registered at other academic institutions for their thesis research project.

		Master students registered at other academic institutions are also welcome to do their research projects at ITQB NOVA. In this case, the credits are awarded by the institution awarding the Master degree. See Research Projects available at ITQB NOVA for Master students.
