The inaugural lecture of Cecília Arraiano, Investigadora Principal at ITQB, as recently elected correspondent member of Academia das Ciências de Lisboa, will take place on May 20th at 15h00 the Academia das Ciências. The lecture is entitled " O Admirável Mundo Novo do RNA".
In 2009, Cecília Arraiano and Helena Santos, Professora Catedrática at ITQB, have become correspondent members of Academia das Ciências de Lisboa for the Biological Sciences. Manuela Chaves, Emmeritus Professor, is a an effective member of this academy (engineering and other applied sciences) since 2001.
