The ombudsperson function is to uphold the rights of students and staff at ITQB NOVA and to guarantee the proper functioning of both research and educational processes at the institute.

The Ombudsperson is elected by the Scientific Council and must be a senior Researcher/Professor at ITQB NOVA
Article 14 - Ombudsperson
1. The Ombudsperson is responsible for contributing compliance with all regulations in effect at the ITQB NOVA, analysing conflicts and proposing solutions, and working to ensure that all persons at ITQB NOVA fulfil their obligations and enjoy their rights.
