Applications 2025/2026

In this school year, applications take place through ITQB NOVA, online.

Enrollment

There is an acceptance fee of 100€ (one hundred euros) on the academic year 2025/2026, that should be paid up to 7 days (maximum) after the communication of acceptance at the Master Course.

The fee payment is mandatory after the acceptance of the Candidate.

Failure to pay within this period implies the automatic exclusion of the candidate, and no exemption situations are foreseen.

The amount paid will be deducted later in the total amount of the tuition fees.


Required documents:

  • Identification document
  • One photo (recent)
  • VAT number
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Certificates (in Portuguese, English, French, or Spanish; if in other languages, documents should be translated to Portuguese or English and must be certified by the official consulate)
  • Proof of application fee payment In alternative this document may be sent by email

 

Eligibility Criteria:

All applications will be assessed by the Scientific Committee of the Cycle of Studies. Candidates who meet one of the following criteria will be considered:

a) Holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in life and environmental sciences or related areas;

b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process;

c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the Scientific Council of ITQB NOVA;

d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.


Selection Criteria (in order of importance):

  • GPA of prior academic degree(s);
  • Academic and scientific curriculum;
  • Professional curriculum;
  • Interview (tie-break);

 

Please note that the application will only be reviewed when the application fee has been paid.

Details for payment of application fee (51€ - non-refundable):

Payments should be made by ATM for the applicants that are residents in Portugal (the reference number should be issued in the applications platform) and by bank transfer (see details below) for the applicants that are residents abroad; please submit a copy of the ATM/HomeBanking receipt together with the other application documents or e-mail it to itqb.academics@itqb.unl.pt, indicating the name of the candidate as in the application form.

Fees for 2025/2026:

  • 1100 € annual for Portuguese or other EU nationals
  • 7000 €/annual for all others
