Every day, research is carried out in NOVA laboratories with the consumption of countless resources. You may have already asked yourself about the environmental impact of the laboratory where you work and how to improve it. In fact, the smallest gestures can be important. And every gesture counts. So where to start?

Cristina Azevedo, researcher and current director of the New Biopesticides Department of the InnovPlantProtect Collaborative Laboratory, has a career of over twenty years in research in the UK, and comes to share with the NOVA research community her knowledge and best practices around Sustainability in laboratories.

This will be a Zoom talk, but the ITQB NOVA Sustainability committee invites you to gather in room 2.13 to watch it together. At the end of the session, there will be a short presentation (in loco only) about the plastic collection in ITQB NOVA labs, and a discussion about the next steps.
