INSTRUCT - An Integrated Structural Biology Infrastructure for Europe
First National User Group Meeting in Portugal
Agenda: First Portuguese User Group Meeting-Agenda
The Portuguese scientific community with interest in Structural Biology is invited to participate in the first National User Group Meeting of INSTRUCT to be held on April 6, 2009 at ITQB, Oeiras.
The aim of this meeting is to bring together scientists with interests in structural biology or related areas as potential users of INSTRUCT (www.instruct-fp7.eu). This infrastructure will offer access to a wide range of facilities such as high-throughput methods in protein production, NMR, X-ray crystallography, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy and biophysical methods.
During the meeting there will be a discussion on the needs, future developments and challenges, as well as possible accessibility of such an infrastructure. The meeting will have the participation of the two Portuguese delegates at ESFRI, Prof.s Lígia Amâncio and Gaspar Barreiras and Susan Daenke from Oxford, one of the management coordinators of INSTRUCT.
We would very much appreciate if you could circulate this message and attachments in your Institution or to any other scientist that may be interested in this matter.
Deadline for Registration for the Portuguese meeting: March 31
