Abstract: Campus innovation spaces typically follow a formula approach, often borrowing designs from other institutions or meeting outdated departmental needs. However, NOVA IMS's Innovation & Analytics Lab exemplifies that innovation is a continual learning journey, not a predetermined solution.
Our project explores how purpose-built environments can enhance collaborative learning and wellbeing. Through design thinking research, we identified the importance of integrating wellbeing into spatial concepts.
Our co-creation process, despite budget constraints, yielded valuable insights, reshaping pedagogy, fostering partnerships, and streamlining procurement. The project's outcomes surpassed expectations, highlighting the transformative potential of new pedagogical approaches.
