FAQs If I submit an Invention Disclosure, do I get a chance to use the invention as a basis to establish a start-up company? Yes. It is ITQB's policy to give inventors the first option right to develop their invention into commercial products.
If the invention is licensed to a third party, do the inventors have the right to a share of the financial revenues? Yes. It is ITQB policy to share licensing profits with the inventors affiliated at ITQB. Inventors affiliated with institutions other than ITQB should be aware that the profit sharing policies of their home institution may differ.
If I submit an Invention Disclosure will I be informed of the actions taken to license the invention? Yes. No action plan will be implemented without the approval both by the Inventors and the Board of Directors of ITQB. The KTTO will work alongside the Inventors to protect and licence the invention. |
