FIC.A – International Science Festival

FIC.A - International Science Festival will take place from October 12th to 17th 2021 at the Palace and Gardens of Marquês de Pombal, in Oeiras, and will assume be a true celebration of science and knowledge within society. For 6 days, FIC.A will offer the public with a pioneering program, full of unique experiences in the fields of science, technology, culture and art.

The festival, which proudly bears the high patronage of the Presidency of the Republic in its debut edition, will bring together more than 100 academic, scientific, technological, diplomatic, governmental and non-governmental entities, giving it a unique character and potential in the national and international context. With hundreds of specifically curated events along with a relevant cultural programme, the festival counts with speakers and artists who are among the best in their field, working at the forefront of their specialties. The GREEN-IT researchers will be present with many activities, shows and debates, showcasing the best of plant sciences to all audiences.

The program already has more than 700 activities – including debates, lectures, exhibitions, shows, concerts, workshops, among other formats – and has more than 100 speakers from over 20 countries. Please check the full program here.
