FIC.A - International Science Festival

On the next 10th to 16th October, ITQB NOVA, in partnership with iBET, will participate in the second edition of FIC.A - International Science Festival, which will take place in HUB-ACT, Porto Salvo.

Over seven days, researchers from ITQB NOVA and iBET will dynamize dozens of activities, for all publics, from kids to adults. It will be possible to explore the invisible world of our body, travel to the core of proteins, do experiments with everyday materials or even taste different craft beers. Besides the school activities, ITQB NOVA and iBET will be present in an institutional stand - an immersive and interactive space, with many surprises along the week to show how "Science moves us forward". In the weekend will take place different activities, among them the science show "Ciência Espetacular" with researcher Carlos Romão.

FIC.A will offer a programme with different activities, from debates, workshops, exhibitions to hands-on activities and much more. The Festival aims to be a reference event promoting science, technology, culture and art, and is organised by Senciência, in partnership with Oeiras Municipality, within the Oeiras Science and Technology Strategy.
