GREEN-IT Annual Meeting
The 6th Annual Meeting of the Bioresources for Sustainability Unit GREEN-IT will take place 24 February 2021, via ZOOM.
GREEN-IT is a Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia funded research unit, that links Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier ITQB NOVA, Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica iBET, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência IGC, Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária INIAV and Insituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge INSA. The GREEN-IT Bioresources for Sustainability Unit addresses the challenge of ensuring food security and adequate resources for a growing human population, by deciphering the basic mechanisms of plant-environment interactions and translating knowledge into innovation for plant breeding, while guaranteeing environmental sustainability.
The GREEN-IT annual meeting will include presentations regarding general organization and outreach, new GREEN-IT PIs and close links to Collaborative Labs and financial Management/Strategic investments, as well as meetings with the Scientific Advisory Board.
