EPSO gathers at ITQB NOVA for General Assembly
On June 11th and 12th, participants from 16 different European countries will be meeting at ITQB NOVA. The General Assembly of the European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO) will bring together 50 participants to discuss current and future policies, including Horizon Europe program for research and innovation, and especially cluster 6 - Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment. On the second day, June 12th, several presentations from the participants will focus on Plant Sciences, with the main purpose of sharing research lines and have more in-depth scientific discussions.
EPSO is an independent academic organization currently representing more than 200 research institutes, departments and universities from 31 countries in Europe and beyond. Its purpose is to improve the impact and visibility of plant science in Europe. EPSO focuses on providing advice on science policy towards a strategic approach and critical mass funding for basic and applied research across Europe, coordinating research activities at the national and European levels, and facilitating the understanding of plant science.
