Farmers’ Day gathers researchers and stakeholders in Elvas

INIAV, Elvas held the Farmers’ Day 2023, this past May 17. The day was celebrated with an event that gathered citizens, researchers, and stakeholders, and counted with the presence of Maria do Céu Antunes, Minister of Agriculture and Food, as well as various GREEN-IT members.

With the theme “Territory and Competitiveness”, the round table at the event included GREEN-IT member and INIAV researcher Benvindo Maçãs, as well as representatives of the National Association of Protein, Oilseed and Cereal Producers (ANPOC), Southern Grain Producers Group (CERSUL), Escola Superior Agrária de Castelo Branco, and Guadiana Agricultural Cooperative.

The participants also were able to watch a demonstration, by ITQB NOVA team of Rubén Vicente, of GREEN-IT aerial phenotyping platform and the field trials of INIAV.
