2019, Escola Básica do Alto de Algés

On the next 26th November, our IMPaCT co-coordinator, Célia Romão, and our Post-doc, Sara Silva, are going to spend the morning with the 3rd grade students from Alto de Algés elementary school.

The event is being organized within the program "Scientist goes to School" ("Cientista vai à escola"), an initiative promoted by ITQB NOVA and offered to different school in Oeiras council. 

Our IMpaCT scientists will share with the young audience what is to be a scientist, what is to do research work, what is to collaborate in a big EU project, such as IMpaCT. They will do fun and engaging activities, as coloring drawings of protein structures, 3D printing of some of the Lab identified protein structures.
