Bridging academia & industry on CryoEM applications
One of the IMpaCT project goals is to promote a closer interface between Cryo-EM technologies in structural biology applied to fundamental research, industry and medicine.
It is our aim to highlight the collaborative potential of these complementary aspects of the scientific research, as well as to broaden the horizons of our early career researchers beyond academia.
Thus, a series of Online seminars - CryoEM & Biotech - are being organised with renowned scientists from well-known international Pharma and Biotech companies
Two session have been organized so far to promote a close contact between academic research and industry.
The first session took place on July 1st with the renowned expert speaker Dr. Ilaria Ferlenghi, head of Structural Microscopy from the GSK Vaccines.
For the second session of the online seminar series, we have welcomed Dr. Alexis Rohou, a Senior Scientist of the Structural Biology department of Genentech on October 14th.
Dr Rohou kindly allowed the recording of his seminar, available on the project’s YouTube Channel.
Stay tune for our next session!
