Prof. Dr. Werner Kühlbrandt visit to ITQB NOVA and IMpaCT Seminar

On November 11th 2019, IMpaCT project had a great pleasure of welcoming Dr. Werner Kühlbrandt, from the Department of Structural Biology at Max Planck Institute of Biophysics, to ITQB NOVA Institute.

It was a full-day agenda filled with rich discussions on how to get cryo-EM in Portugal off the ground.

Throughout the day, our Scientific Advisor met with ITQB NOVA director, lectured a seminar about Cryo-EM Microscopy technique open to the whole Institute, and had lunch with the IMpaCT – ITQB team members.

A meeting with the IMpaCT coordination team and partners was coordinated for presentation of the project mission and upcoming activities planned for the next 6 months.
