Submission of an artwork to the CTT contest “AQUIHASELO” for the 2009’s philatelic emissions: https://www.dn.pt/arquivo/2007/portugueses-escolhem-temas-dos-selos-655076.html

The stamp created by N. Micaelo dedicated to the theme “Science in Portugal” illustrates the trinuclear copper center of CotA-laccase from Bacillus subtilis a model bacterial laccase that was first identified and characterized by LO Martins.

The stamp gained the preference of the public through an e-mail voting contest and is now under national circulation.
