Our strategy

Our strategic lines include:

i) to identify and characterize changes in root exudates due to environmental stresses;

ii) to study changes in the associated microbiota caused by different exudates profiles (‘exudomes’);

iii) to characterize plant-beneficial microbiota signaling;

iv) to evaluate vertical transmission and transgenerational inheritance of beneficial microbes;

v) to study the relevance of the epigenetic regulation in these processes.

We collaborate with many labs in our research unit (GREEN-IT), as well as other international labs and companies to achieve our objectives.
