Oeiras, 14 November 2024

On November 12, members from Universidade Nova de Lisboa gathered at the Campolide Campus to celebrate NOVA Day, an annual event honoring academic achievements across its schools and institutes.

A key part of the event was the recognition of new doctoral graduates, who received insignia in celebration of their achievements. This year, 41 new PhD graduates from ITQB NOVA received insignia, marking their significant contributions to research and academia.

NOVA Rector João Sàágua addressed attendees, reflecting on the university's recent progress: “We have rebuilt the training offer, advanced knowledge and collaborative innovation, and strengthened our community."

The event also featured the conferral of Professor Emeritus titles, the presentation of the Pedagogical Innovation Award, and several musical performances.
