(Des)Conversas – Knowledge and Freedom
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 25th of the Carnation Revolution, ITQB NOVA created a new space for conversations "(Des)Conversas – Conhecimento e Liberdade", at the end of the day, with guests to help us reflect beyond our science.
Between April 2024 and April 2025, these talks, open to the public, will have the motto "Knowledge and Freedom". The first session will take place on April 29th at 5:30 PM, with ITQB NOVA researchers Carlos Romão and Cristina Silva Pereira. Two more sessions are already scheduled: on 18 May, a special session dedicated to the Fascination of Plants Day, with Margarida Oliveira, and a session on June 3rd with Alexandre Quintanilha.
Other session dates and guests will be proposed by the ITQB NOVA community, individually or in group, contributing to a diverse and balanced programme throughout the year. Proposals may be submitted using the form (Des)Conversas – Conhecimento e Liberdade.
