The target audience of the summer school is PhD students who are not in their first year of studies, and pos-docs within three years of obtaining their PhD. If you work in a country associated with the COST Actions CM1003 or CM1105, and work in scientific areas relevant for the mission of these actions you may request support by the actions. If you wish to apply for this support please submit a letter addressed to the chairman of the relevant action outlining how your current research interests match the mission of the COST action, together with your application.
The registration fee will be 500 euros for students not supported by the COST actions and 650 euros for students supported by the COST actions. It includes the participation in all the sessions, coffee breaks, accommodation and dinner between the 7 and 14 of September.
Applications received before 14th of March 2014 will be considered. Feedback on the success of the application, on the decision of the chairmen of the COST actions concerning support, and instructions for payment and poster abstract preparation will be provided in the beginning of April.
The organizers will try to provide financial support to disadvantaged participants.
Applications wishing to apply for financial support should provide a brief rational for their request in the e-mail message containing their application.
